Reservations and Cancellations Policy

  • Guest making reservation/check-in must be 21 years of age or older  
  • There are no refunds for no-shows or early check-outs.
  • A credit card is required to make a reservation.
  • Deposit: 100% of the first night will be charged on the day of booking. 30% of the entire booking will be charged if the length of stay exceeds five days.
  • Pet Policy: Hillcrest Inn is delighted to welcome your dog. There is a $15 per night non-refundable dog fee per dog.
  • Dogs are not to be left unattended in rooms. Guests are responsible for damage to property or disturbance to other guests.
  • Rooms will not be pro-rated in case of early check-out or late check-in. Guests are responsible for the full confirmed reservation.
  • If canceled or modified up to 7 days before the date of arrival, a fixed amount of $0 will be charged per room. If canceled or modified later or in case of a no-show, 100% of the first night will be charged.
  • The cancellation policy is in effect once a deposit has been made.
  • Check-in at 4 pm
  • Check-out at 11:00 am or earlier
  • Government-issued photo identification and a credit card will be required at check-in for incidental charges.
  • All rooms are non-smoking and or vaping.
  • Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges; special requests cannot be guaranteed
  • Only registered guests are allowed in the guestrooms
  • An incidentals deposit of USD 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card.

Dog Policy

Reservations for Dog-Friendly rooms should be made by calling 503-738-6273 to ensure availability.

~Dogs are permitted with a $15 fee per night per dog.

~Hillcrest Inn allows a maximum of 2 (two) dogs per room.

~Dogs should be leashed at all times in public spaces in the hotel and on the grounds.

~Dogs should be supervised at all times while in the hotel and on the property. For safety reasons, we ask dogs not be left unattended in rooms and/or cars.

~Guest traveling with dogs are responsible for pet waste clean-up. A pet waste disposal center is located on our dog-friendly lawn area.

~Guest traveling with dogs are responsible for all personal injuries and/or property damage related to their dog(s).

~Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Hillcrest Inn, the hotel, its operators and owners, and their respective affiliates from all liability and/or damage suffered as a result of their dog(s).

~Hillcrest Inn reserves the right to remove guests whose dogs are deemed noisy, disruptive, and /or aggressive. No refunds will be given due to the removal of disruptive guests and or dogs.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless G & M Hillcrest LLC and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, or b) a breach of these Terms.


Limitation Of Liability

In no event shall G & M Hillcrest LLC, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.



Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.


G & M Hillcrest LLC its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.



Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the limitations above may not apply to you.


Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service.



We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 15 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.


By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.

Ruth and the staff were so gracious during our stay, always saying hello and asking how our day was. She works so hard, always making sure everyone is happy. Our room was clean and quiet, and Bed was very comfy; the location was perfect, walking distance to everything. She even knew our dog by her first name! 😉 We would stay here again just because the staff was so nice. Thank you!

We had a wonderful weekend! This was hands down the best little place to stay!!! The staff was above and beyond helpful and friendly! We were able to do everything we wanted to do within walking distance. The whole place has an "at home" feel; the beds were cozy and comfortable, and the TV was smart, so I could use Netflix or any other streaming app I wanted. There are games, movies, and FREE snacks in the office. I can't wait to come back!!
